Policy

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions form the customer membership agreement for the website and matrimonial services provided by Vijayasri Matrimony.

Effective: 18 August 2026 | Version 1.2

Last revised: 8 September 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the website, registering or continuing a profile, submitting information or documents, purchasing a membership, making a payment, or using any Vijayasri Matrimony service, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions together with the Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, Disclaimer and Cookie Notice.

Acceptance may be recorded electronically through a required checkbox, account activity, payment or continued use of the service. A parent, sibling, relative or representative who creates or manages a profile confirms that they are authorised by the person concerned and their family to provide the information and communicate with Vijayasri Matrimony.

2. Nature of Service

Vijayasri Matrimony provides a matrimonial introduction and support service. Depending on the selected membership and operational feasibility, this may include profile registration, biodata preparation, profile review, match search, shortlist assistance, private profile sharing, family coordination, follow-up, NRI guidance and confidential support.

Customers voluntarily register their personal and matrimonial profile details with Vijayasri Matrimony at their own discretion. Profile details may be made available to or shared with relevant prospective customers or profiles solely as part of the matrimonial service process and subject to the privacy, suitability and service controls described in these Terms.

Vijayasri Matrimony assists introductions and communication but does not make the final decision regarding marriage between customers. Every decision to communicate, meet, verify, accept, reject, become engaged or marry belongs independently to the individuals and families concerned.

3. Eligibility and Voluntary Registration

A person using the service must be legally capable of entering into a contract and legally eligible to seek marriage under applicable law. Registration must be voluntary and for a genuine matrimonial purpose.

A profile must not be created for a person without their knowledge or proper authority. Vijayasri Matrimony may request confirmation of authority, age, identity, marital status or other eligibility information before approving or continuing a profile.

4. Accuracy, Authenticity and Verification

Customers are solely responsible for the truth, accuracy, completeness and authenticity of all information, statements, photographs and documents provided by them or on their behalf, including identity, age, marital status, education, employment, income, family, health, property, location, immigration and horoscope information.

Vijayasri Matrimony may review, organise, clarify or request supporting material, but such activity is not a warranty or independent certification of every statement. Information must be updated promptly when it changes.

If a customer knowingly provides false, misleading, fraudulent, impersonated, unlawful or materially incorrect information, Vijayasri Matrimony may refuse, hide, suspend or terminate the profile or service and may take appropriate legal action where permitted by applicable law.

5. Role of Vijayasri Matrimony and No Guarantee

Vijayasri Matrimony is a facilitator and service provider, not an investigation agency, guarantor, marriage broker with authority to bind parties, or professional legal, medical, financial or astrological adviser.

Registration, verification activity, payment, membership, profile sharing or staff assistance does not guarantee a response, meeting, mutual interest, engagement, marriage, horoscope compatibility, family approval, background confirmation or any result within a particular period.

6. Customer Due Diligence and Personal Responsibility

Before making any commitment, customers and families must independently verify all matters important to them, including identity, age, marital history, education, employment, income, financial position, family background, property, health, habits, criminal or civil history, immigration status and documents.

Customers must use reasonable caution in communications and meetings, protect private information and seek qualified professional advice where appropriate. Vijayasri Matrimony is not a substitute for independent enquiries, direct discussion, document verification or informed consent.

7. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

Customers must communicate respectfully and use profiles, contact details and service materials only for genuine matrimonial purposes. Harassment, threats, abusive language, stalking, solicitation, fraud, impersonation, unauthorised scraping, copying or redistribution of profiles, commercial promotion and misuse of photographs or contact details are prohibited.

Customers must not make knowingly false allegations, publish malicious misinformation or make unlawful defamatory statements about Vijayasri Matrimony, its proprietor, employees, representatives or services. This clause does not restrict any customer's right to make a truthful good-faith complaint, review, report to an authority, seek legal advice or exercise a remedy available under law.

8. Profile Sharing, Mutual Interest, Non-Response and Confidentiality

Public website visitors may see limited profile previews or representative service information. Complete biodata, private photographs, family details, documents, contact details and internal notes are intended for controlled account, staff and service workflows.

During the service period, Vijayasri Matrimony may share suitable profiles or matches with the customer based on the information, preferences and requirements provided by the customer, subject to the selected package, availability, staff review and privacy controls.

Contact numbers and direct contact details will be shared only when there is mutual interest and consent between the parties concerned. If either party does not express interest or consent to proceed, that party's contact number or direct contact details will not be shared. Payment does not create an unconditional right to another person's contact details.

A profile shared with the customer as part of the matrimonial service counts as a profile or match provided under the selected package and its confirmed scope, irrespective of whether the other party subsequently expresses interest, responds, accepts the proposal or agrees to share contact details.

The other party's decision to respond, express interest, reject a profile, discontinue communication or proceed further is independent and beyond the control of Vijayasri Matrimony. Non-response, rejection, lack of mutual interest, non-acceptance or non-sharing of contact details does not, by itself, entitle the customer to a refund or exclude the shared profile from services already provided, subject to applicable law.

Vijayasri Matrimony does not guarantee that each shared profile will result in mutual interest, an exchange of contact details, communication, engagement or marriage. For clarity: a profile shared counts towards the selected package; direct contact details are shared only upon mutual interest and consent; a response, acceptance or marriage is not guaranteed.

For a genuine service-related grievance, Vijayasri Matrimony may, at its discretion and subject to the applicable package and service period, offer additional profile suggestions or service support as an alternative remedy. This does not replace any remedy required by law.

Recipients must keep shared information confidential and must not forward, publish, sell, archive or use it outside the genuine matrimonial purpose without appropriate permission.

9. Membership Plans, Fees and Payments

The benefits, price, validity and scope of each membership are those communicated at the time of purchase or displayed on the website. Customers should understand the plan before paying. Operational features and package descriptions may be updated prospectively, but an already purchased plan will be handled according to the confirmed scope, subject to these Terms.

Payment is treated as received only after the transaction is verified. Vijayasri Matrimony may request a transaction reference or payment proof. Membership activation and service delivery begin only after payment confirmation and required profile information are available.

Customers must use authorised payment channels and must not send money to another member or third party on the representation that Vijayasri Matrimony has guaranteed the person or transaction.

10. Payment, Service Dissatisfaction and Account Freezing

After making payment and using the services of Vijayasri Matrimony, a customer who is dissatisfied with the service, does not find a suitable match, does not like a particular profile or match, or is dissatisfied for a personal reason must not, on those grounds alone, make a false, misleading or malicious complaint intended to cause the business's bank, UPI, payment or other financial account to be frozen or blocked.

Customers must not misuse cybercrime complaints, bank complaints, payment-platform grievance mechanisms or any other legal mechanism as a pressure tactic to obtain a refund, compensation or another financial benefit.

These restrictions concern false, misleading, malicious or abusive conduct only. They do not prevent truthful, good-faith complaints, reports of suspected fraud, legitimate payment disputes, lawful requests for refunds or compensation, or access to banks, payment platforms, law-enforcement agencies, regulators, consumer forums or courts. No customer is required to waive a right or remedy available under applicable law.

11. Refunds, Cancellations and the Final Exception

Membership fees compensate Vijayasri Matrimony for access, profile handling, administrative work, matching effort, follow-up and other plan activities. Once a plan is activated or service work has started, fees are generally non-refundable, including where a customer changes their mind, does not like suggested profiles, receives no response or acceptance, finds a match independently, delays or stops communication, provides incomplete information, or expects a guaranteed outcome.

A cancellation request before activation, a duplicate or incorrect payment, or an exceptional service-related grievance may be reviewed on its facts under the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Correcting a verified duplicate payment or billing error, and providing a refund required by law, are separate from the discretionary exception below.

As a final and exceptional remedy, if Vijayasri Matrimony specifically approves a discretionary refund, applicable GST and other statutory deductions, if any, will first be deducted to the extent lawfully deductible or retainable. Only 30% of the balance remaining after those deductions is eligible for refund. The remainder is retained towards service charges, administrative expenses, profile processing, communication, facilitation and other services already provided.

This 30% provision applies only to a refund specifically approved as a company-policy exception. It is not an admission of deficiency in service or a general right to claim a refund. Non-response, rejection, non-acceptance or lack of interest by another party does not, by itself, create an automatic refund right. Any approved refund will follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy and applicable law, including required GST adjustments or credit notes. The 30% limit does not restrict refunds or remedies required by law or correction of verified duplicate payments or billing errors.

Nothing in this clause excludes a refund, remedy or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded. The separate Refund and Cancellation Policy forms part of these Terms.

12. Service Period and Discretionary Extensions

Plan validity runs for the period confirmed with the selected membership. A delay caused by incomplete profile information, unavailable customer communication, pending verification, changing preferences or lack of suitable mutual interest does not automatically pause or extend the plan.

Vijayasri Matrimony may, at its discretion, offer a limited extension, plan adjustment or practical resolution in an exceptional case. A discretionary concession does not create an entitlement or precedent for another customer.

13. Communications and Contact Permission

By registering or enquiring, the customer authorises Vijayasri Matrimony to contact them through phone calls, WhatsApp, SMS, email and account notifications for verification, profile completion, matching, membership, payment, support and service administration.

Customers may request that non-essential promotional communication stop. Essential account, security, payment, legal and active-service messages may still be sent where necessary. Third-party communication platforms operate under their own terms and privacy practices.

14. Interactions and Financial Dealings Between Customers

Meetings, travel, gifts, loans, transfers, business dealings, marriage expenses and every other personal or financial arrangement between customers or families are private matters outside the service scope.

Customers must never treat a shared profile, staff communication or website status as a guarantee of identity, finances or trustworthiness. Vijayasri Matrimony is not responsible for unauthorised or independent transactions between customers, subject always to liability that cannot be excluded by law.

15. Suspension, Refusal and Termination

Vijayasri Matrimony may restrict, hide, suspend, reject or terminate a profile or service where reasonably necessary for safety, privacy, verification, non-payment, misuse, unlawful activity, breach of these Terms, staff or customer protection, technical security or operational reasons.

Where appropriate and lawful, the customer may be asked for clarification before a decision. Serious fraud, impersonation, threats, harassment or security risk may require immediate action. Termination does not automatically create a refund right after service work has begun.

16. Company's Final Decision

For refunds, continuation of services, additional services, profile selection or suspension, membership, account management, complaints, disputes and other service-related matters, Vijayasri Matrimony will make its decision based on the available information, the confirmed service package, these Terms and applicable law. That decision is final on the company's part for its internal service administration.

By accepting these Terms, the customer acknowledges and accepts the company's role in making those service-related decisions, subject to the agreed package and applicable law. An internal decision does not bind a court, consumer forum, regulator, bank or other competent authority, prevent a good-faith challenge, or remove any statutory right or remedy.

17. Website Content and Intellectual Property

The website design, brand materials, original copy, software, layouts and service documents belong to Vijayasri Matrimony or its licensors. Customers receive only a limited, personal right to use the website for the intended service.

Customers retain responsibility for materials they submit and grant Vijayasri Matrimony permission to store, format, reproduce and share those materials only as reasonably required to provide, secure and administer the matrimonial service.

18. Complaints, Objections and Grievance Resolution

A customer with a complaint, objection, grievance or dispute should first contact Vijayasri Matrimony at support@vijayasrimatrimony.com or 7416958887, identify the registered profile or transaction and provide relevant facts. This gives the business an opportunity to clarify records and propose a practical resolution.

The normal support hours are 10 AM to 6 PM, with Sundays and festival holidays closed. Vijayasri Matrimony will review a complete complaint within a reasonable period depending on its complexity. Contacting the business first does not remove any statutory right to approach a competent authority or forum.

19. Legal Notices

Formal legal notices concerning Vijayasri Matrimony may be sent to the registered business address stated on this page, with a copy to support@vijayasrimatrimony.com.

For legal communication, the authorised advocate is AV Sivaram, contact number 8886363163. This advocate contact is for legal notices and legal concerns; ordinary customer service, profile, payment and grievance enquiries should use the business support contacts.

20. Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Vijayasri Matrimony is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss caused by user-provided misinformation, independent family decisions, third-party platforms, unauthorised dealings, failure to perform due diligence, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, consumer protection, privacy rights or another remedy to the extent that exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

21. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in India. Subject to applicable statutory provisions and any forum or jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded, disputes arising from the services will be subject to the competent courts at Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh.

The parties should first attempt good-faith resolution through the complaint process. This clause does not prevent a customer from using a consumer, privacy or other statutory remedy available under applicable law.

22. Changes, Severability and Entire Agreement

Vijayasri Matrimony may update these Terms when law, services, fees, technology or operational practices change. The current effective date and version will be shown on this page. Material changes will apply prospectively and may be communicated through the website or available contact channels.

If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. These Terms and the policies linked from them constitute the applicable service agreement unless a specific written membership document signed or expressly accepted by Vijayasri Matrimony states otherwise.

Customers are advised to read all applicable policies carefully before registering or using the service. All applicable Terms and Conditions apply.

23. False or Unauthorized Signature

If any person knowingly provides a false signature, imitates another person's signature, or uses another person's signature without authorization on the Consent Letter or Terms and Conditions, Vijayasri Matrimony may suspend or terminate that person's membership or services.

If such conduct constitutes an offence under applicable law, Vijayasri Matrimony reserves the right to take appropriate legal action based on the available evidence and in accordance with applicable law. Vijayasri Matrimony may also report the matter to the appropriate authorities where necessary.

By signing the Consent Letter or Terms and Conditions, the signatory confirms that the signature provided is their own and that they have signed voluntarily and truthfully.
